KELLI MCINTOSH - Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Kel was the Downingtown East Girls' Lacrosse Head Coach from 2020-2022 and transitioned to Assistant Coach in 2023. She was Downingtown East's Volunteer and JV Coach from 2014-2020 where she helped lead the Cougars to a Chesmont Championship Season in 2019. She also coached the PA Express 2017 Orange club team from 2013-2017. 

Kelli graduated from Downingtown East in 2009 and went on to play lacrosse for Drexel University from 2009-2013 where she was First Team all CAA in 2012 and 2013, Drexel Lacrosse's MVP in 2012 and 2013, the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic Performer of the Year for Lacrosse in 2013, IWLCA All-Region in 2012-2013, and First Team All Philly for Division 1 Lacrosse in 2012 and 2013. 

She is a 4th Grade teacher at Lionville Elementary School.

ROB RUCH - JV Head Coach

Dr. Rob Ruch has worked with the players that move up to Downingtown East as the 7th grade girls' coach at Lionville Middle School.  Having coached there for the last 16 years, he has been tutored by some of the best players in the area. He played soccer and tennis at Phoenixville Area High School and played soccer for Dixie College (now Utah Tech University) in St. George, UT.  He then transferred and graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Communication Education.  He earned his Master's degree from Penn State University and earned his Doctorate of Education from Immaculata University.  He has been teaching English at Lionville Middle School for the last 21 years and coached girls' soccer there for the last 20 years!  Coach Ruch focuses on the players becoming the best version of themselves on the field, in the classroom, and everywhere they go.  Fun fact: he taught coach Kelli McIntosh his first year at LMS and coached both of Coach Kropp's and Coach Brennan's daughters.   He is excited to work with the Downingtown East community.

STACY BRENNAN - JV Assistant Coach

Coach Brennan graduated from Downingtown High School where she was a multi-sport athlete. She was All-League and MVP for both field hockey and lacrosse. She played club field hockey, lacrosse, and water polo at Penn State. She continued to play field hockey and lacrosse after college in the Philadelphia Club Leagues, and she coached lacrosse at Downingtown High School from 1988-1990. This is her fourth year coaching lacrosse at Downingtown East. 

Coach Brennan is a Health and Physical Education teacher at St. Agnes Catholic School in West Chester.  She has three children who all graduated from Downingtown East and they all continued to play their sports at the collegiate level.  Fun fact:  Coach Kelli was one of Coach Brennan's oldest daughter's lacrosse idols when they played together in high school! 

SIOBHAN BURKE HONTZ - Volunteer Coach

Coach Siobhan graduated from West Chester East High School before going on to play lacrosse for Franklin and Marshall College. She started coaching immediately after graduating from F&M and also became a certified PIAA official. Recently, her move from Philadelphia to West Chester offered the opportunity to coach again, and she looks forward to her second season coaching the Downingtown East Girls lacrosse team!
